Integration

The success of the integration of refugees into Ukrainian society depends on their psychological comfort, the speed of adaptation to new realities and the opportunity to establish a full life in the host country.

An important annual event that overcomes the distance in communication and perception between Ukrainians and refugees is the celebration of the World Refugee Day on June 20. Events dedicated to this date include traditional music, dance, and national cuisine, exhibitions, discussions and press conferences designed to focus the attention of the community of refugees, who most of all want to feel Ukraine as their home.
